Community Involvement

CSW Gives Back to the Community

A core value of CSW is giving back to our community. We do this year-round, though we don't always announce it. This year, however, we are being intentional about inviting you to partner with us in our community efforts. So, we're super excited to share our planned monthly charities for the rest of 2023:

APRIL: Note in the Pocket - a ministry providing quality clothing to homeless and impoverished children and families with dignity and love

MAY: Hope Reins - a ministry rescuing abused & neglected horses to help abused & neglected kids find true hope and healing

JUNE: Diaper Bank of NC - ensuring families in NC have access to basic necessities to support their dignity, health, and quality of life

JULY: Wake Monarch Academy - a high school where students recovering from substance use disorders can excel in a safe, supportive, faith-based environment

AUGUST: Raleigh Dream Center - a Christian-based, volunteer driven non-profit providing social services and community programs to homeless, abused and impoverished high risk youth, individuals and families.

SEPTEMBER: Feeding the Carolinas - providing access to healthy food for all. 

OCTOBER: Oak City Cares or Resources for Seniors

NOVEMBER: We Honor Veterans

DECEMBER: Healing Transitions - 

Join Us for our Upcoming Wellness Offerings at CSW and help give back to those in need while also giving the gift of wellness to yourself!

Our wellness offerings are outdoors & are all FREE to our community, but a $10 donation to help support our charity of the month (listed above) woud be much appreciated. Getting active is always better together!

*SELFCARE SATURDAY & SUNDAY YOGA SERIES

Our Fresh Air Yoga 2023 classes will be offered alternating Saturdays @9AM and Sundays @6PM, May - Oct, weather permitting, beginning May 6th.

*WELLNESS WEDNESDAY WALKING CLUB (WWWC)

Our WWWC begins Wednesday, May 10th! Join us the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month @7:30PM to get in those steps & the many health benefits that walking offers.

An awesome, low-impact way to get in shape. Also a great way to prepare, if planning to do a 5K!  WWWC Schedule.
